CLÉMENT CAMPILLO
Maître de conférences HDR
Université d'Évry val d'Essonne
Research
My work aims to elucidate how the mechanical properties of living objects impact both normal and pathological biological processes. I collaborate with biologists to study living cells and work on reconstituted systems using model membranes and purified cytoskeletal components. Employing imaging and micro/nano-manipulation techniques, I explore the physical properties of these fragile, soft, and dynamic systems. My dual objective is to gain a fundamental understanding of the physical mechanisms underpinning biological functions and to develop therapeutic technologies, particularly in the context of cancer or Assisted Reproductive Technologies.

- Atomic Force Microscopy
